Electrical outlets to power pumps or devices

Nearby access to running water

A refrigerator or cooling solution for storing expressed milk

A written lactation accommodation policy that’s provided at hiring, posted at the workplace, and shared electronically (intranet)

When permanent space isn’t feasible, a multipurpose room can be used temporarily if it maintains privacy and accessibility standards. Employers are also required to respond to accommodation requests within five business days and engage in a cooperative dialogue if accommodations would impose undue hardship.
